Technical Specification - Silicon:

Hidden Features:
Air Circulation Hole
Putting an airtight container with warm or hot food in a refrigerator causes drastic difference of temperature, resulting in difficulties with opening the lid later on due to the pressure within the container. The food had to be cooled down to prevent such cases.
Each Sunrise lid has an Air Circulation Hole to prevent difficulties with opening the lid without having to cooling the contents. On the surface of a lid of any size, you’ll notice the Sunrise logo. Peel the silicon part right in front of the logo to find the small but unique vertical hole. Opening the silicon on this hole lets out air pressure caused by temperature difference, letting the lid open with ease.
